A must if you visit the Gold Coast
Janelle Larmer 7 days ago

A must if you visit the Gold Coast. Great for everyone, plenty of shows throughout the day for a range of interests. The photo opportunities with koalas and birds are great. The place is deceivingly bigger than it looks on the map and from the road, so make sure you have good walking shoes and adequate sun protection. There is a train that runs through the park if you are not too keen on the hike which is really fun. Sanctuary entry comes with free entry to the surfing museum over the road. I recommend parking near the museum. Check out the honey world while you are out that way.

I went with my 2 children plus 8 adults
Rohini Kumar 1 week ago

I went with my 2 children plus 8 adults, including me. The weather was great and no mosquitos around and less flies. We bought lunch over there and the Ibis and Magpies stealing our food and 2 of us got hurt by the Magpies claws and grabbing food from our hand and other people were looking at us screaming. Otherwise, we all had a great time and saw the peacock's dance. I would rate it 9/10.

I absolutely loved this sanctuary
Morgan Robinson 2 weeks ago

I absolutely loved this sanctuary! It was my first time at one that was so hands-on and interactive with the animals. Holding a koala was definitely the highlight of my visit. I more than recommend this to anyone who wants to go out and explore the world of animals! Would love to come back in the future.

Very good
Arthur Tatev 2 weeks ago

Very good, special for kids. A lot to see, the aboriginal show is super. If you plan to visit it take an all day. During the day you can see different shows and animals. Lost Valley was cool, special trees and plants. If in Australia, go there!

We went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on a Sunday
Karen Nævdal 3 weeks ago

We went to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on a Sunday, we got a warm welcome from the staff, who was very happy to inform is with the different attractions within the park. The first thing we did was to take a koala photo, and I highly recommend to do this early due to the accumulated queue during the day. We also got to see kangaroos!

We used Experience Oz to book tickets to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for my brother and his family when they come to Australia

We used Experience Oz to book tickets to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for my brother and his family when they come to Australia. The website was easy to use, the price was the best we could find for the tickets and we got ideas for other things to do for both ourselves and family while we were on the site. Will definitely use Experience Oz website to book activities in the future.

Currumbin is a beautiful park situated just minutes from Coolangatta
Dean English 3 weeks ago

Currumbin is a beautiful park situated just minutes from Coolangatta. You feel like you entered the brush. The staff were extremely friendly and the park was very clean. The Aboriginal show was excellent and very informative. The admission is very affordable, especially for what we got to experience.

We brought our children here as this was their first trip to Australia
Joanna Buckle 4 weeks ago

We brought our children here as this was their first trip to Australia. It was a highlight to go the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and my daughter loved the koalas and of course getting her photo with one. A downside was that we had paid to get food for kangaroos but most were sleeping so no need for food. Overall though a good day out!

The kids loved it
Liquan 4 weeks ago

The kids loved it. Especially with the train ride and there were lots of shows to see. It also had some Aborigine culture tied into it. Also, it gives us a glimpse of the vital work they do in the hospital to help save and do research to help the animals becoming extinct. Next time we will try the tree surfing.
